It was moved that the amount paid the assessor for the
year 1930 be set at ~125.00. Sconded and carried.
Marshall C.C. ~ee submitted the ~he following repoet from
November 23rd till ~ecember ~hird.
R.A. Clark, arrested, charged with drunkeness ll'ined ~10. 00
and costs.
C.G. Brown arrested charged with being drunk and possessing
liquor. J:l'ined $22.00 Hnd costs.
Sam Chambers arrested' charged with being in posse ssion
of liqour. Fined ~10.00 and costs.
~he clerk then read Vetitions for the names of the followin
candidates to be palced on the ballot for the election
~ecember loth, 1929.

Perry Short.
Each petition was signed by more than 25 voters and the
clerk was instructed to have the names placed on the
ballots.

After some discussion regarding lack of funds with which
to extend a 4 inch water aain to the home of Mr. W.R.
Walton, the clerk was authorized to write Mr. Walton
regarding assistance and if Mr. Walton would advance an
amount not exceeding ~?400.00 to order the necessary pipe
and a 3 inch meter.
Mr. S.H. Bowman, then appeared al agent for the following
property and asked for an adjustment of Delinquent taxes.
Lots 44~48 56 ~ 63 Hill~re8t SubdivisionJ After some
, ,
discussion it was moved, seoonded and carried that the
delinquent tax certificates be cancelled on payment or 25~ of
the amount of delinquent taxes, and the net amount of 192Q
taxes, if pajM~nt is received before January First, 1930.
The same applied to Lots 49,55,91 and 96 Hillcrest Subdivision.
Lot If, Block, l2,Lot 3, Block 11, Lots 6,9 and 10, Block 12
all ~~ ~ake Sunnyside Unit. Lot 72, Clermont Height.. Lata
13 and 14 Riveria ~eights. Lot 7 and 8 Blook M. Less North
2 acres.
After some disoussion it was moved, seconded and oarried that
the certifioates be canoelled upon the payment of 30% of the
delinquent taxes, ~ the net amount of 1929 taxes 1. remittance
is reoe~ved before the First day of January 1930.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned to meet
at the oall of the president.
