It was moved, seconded and &carried that the Florida
Public Service Company be permitted to construct a line
along M1nneola Lake Shore Drive to the Clermonn Citrus'Growers
Paoking House, dutting down of trees to be subject to the
approval of the street committee.
A letter was then read from Dr. O.I. Woodley asking that he
be relieved from taxation on the SE~ of NEt of Seotion 19,
Tpp. 22S. R. 26E. After some discussion the request was tavled.
It was moved, seoonded and carried that the building belonging
to the st. Josephs Aid Society looated at Fifth and Highlands
Streets be oondemmed and the owners ordered to tear it down.

It was moved, seoonded and oarried that the Park Committee go
into the cemetery proposition thoroughly and report at the
nex~ meeting
It was moved, seconded and oarried that the water line from
MontDose Street to De Soto Street be laid with the amount of fou
inoh pipe on hand and oompleted with a two inoh line.
Mr. Short then introduoed the following ordiaanoe;
Ordinance providing a tax leV7 on the property in the City of
Clermont, Florida for the year 1929 and appropriating moneys
for the operation of the. Government of the City of Clermont
for the year 1930, which was read in full and Numbered
"Ordinanoe Number 3".
Mr. Simms then moved that the rules be waived, and that
Ordinanoe Number 3 be plaoed on its second reading and passage;
the motion was seoonded by Mr. Tabor and upon vote being taken
the motion carried Unanimously.
Thereupon Ordinance Number 3 was read in full and upon roll call
the vODe was as follows; Ayes; Simms, Short, Maves, French and
Tabor. Noes; None
So the Ordinanoe was passed, title as stated, and was signed
by the ~resident of the Council and the City Clerk and
immediately certified to the Mayor. The ordinance appears
here in full.
