MINUTES REGULAR ADJOURNED MEETING CLE~iONT
CITY COUNCIL HELD AT THE CITY HALLj JANUARY
30, 1929.
Meeting called to order at Seven.Thirty by
President Mav&s; Councilmen present, Mills,
Simms, French and Tabor. Mayor Davenport and
attorney Westbrook being absent.
President Pilaves a.nnounced that as Mr B. L. McGeehee
had reoigned as Marshall, one thing that needed
attention was the appointment of another Marshall.
The Clerk then read app1~cations from C. C. Lee,
Earl Snarr, J. M. Baker and N. C. Hatcher. After
some discussion it was moved by Mr French and sec-
onded by Mr Simms that Mr J. M. BakJr be appointed.
It was moved, seconded and carried that the vote be
by roll call. Upon roll call those voting Yea;
Simms, French and Maves. Councilmen voting "No"
Mills and Tabor.
After some discussion regar~ing the improvements
made in the water system it was moved, seconded and
carried that $250.00 be transferred from the unes-
timated Revenues Cash Fund, and $150.00 from the
Delinquent Tax Fund to the General Fund and that
the General Fund loan the Water Fund $400.00.
There Qeing no further business the meeting ad-
journed to meet at the call of the President.
