It was moved, seconded and carried that $800.00 oash be
transferred from the Delinquent Taxes Cash Fund to the ~eneral
Fund and that the General Fund loan the Water Fund $800.00 in order
to finish paying for the well indebtedness.

It waS moved, seconded and carried that the street Committe
be authorized to have sidewalks that are in bad oondition repaired
at a oost not to exceed twelve cents per foot.
It was moved seoonded and carried that the city attorney
be instructed to draw up an ordinance levying a license tax of
$25.00 on laundry and bakery trucks doing business in the oity
of Clermonte

It was moved that the street oommittee investigate and make a
survey of the present street lighting system, and make
recommendations necessary for the betterment of same.
It was moved, seconded and carried that the clerk be instructed
to advertise for bids for drilling a ten inch well, and furnish
the neoessary casing, said bids to be opened Deoember 18, 1928
the council feserving the right to reject any and all bids.
It was moved, seconded and carried that the clerk be instructed
to advertise for bids on a deep well turbine pump with direct
oonneoted gaseline or Deisel Engine oapable of delivering 500
gallons of water per minute in the tank; siad bids to be opened
Deoember 18, 1928, the council reserving the right to reject
any and all bids.
It was moved, seconded and carried that the city give the
fire department a dinner in appreoiation of their work during the
past year. By motion wh~oh was seoonded and oarried Mr. Maves
appointed Messrs. Sfmms, Mills and Westbrook on a committee to
a~range for a place and name the date.
There being no further business the meeting adjoupned to meet
at the oall of the president.
