Minutes regular adjourned meeting Clermomt City Council
held at the city hall Teusday August 14, 1928.
Meeting calledto order at 8;15 by president Maves, Councilmen
present Mills, Simms, 'Westbrook and TabJlr, Mayor McKinney and
attorney Westbrook.
The president then announced that the purpose of the 'meeting
was to receive bids for pumping equipment. The clerk
annOunced that three bids were in .
Lane-Southeastern Co., put in a bid of $2955.00 ~or pumping
equipment ~Y~Kt~__ with specifications as advertised.

The A.D. Cook Co., put in a bid of $1843.00 for the pump
and motor wi~out the wiring F.O.B. Clennont, Fla.
Fairbanks Morse & Co., put in a bid of $2467.00 for a, pump
installed according to specifications that will deliver from
650 to 750 gallons per minute into' the tank.
By motion which was seconded and carried the bids were turned
over to the water committee for tabulation and consideration
and the preside~~announced th~t we woul~ ~eet at eight P.M.

Councilmen present, Simms, Tabor, Westbrook and Mills,
Mayor McKinney and attorney Westbrook.
The preseident announced that the meeting vias for .the
purpose of further discussing the matter of installing a
pump over the new well.
After some discussion it was moved by Mr. !lills that the
proposition of Fairbanks Morse 6 Co, who offer to put in a
pump with a ca~acity of 650 gallons to 750 gallons per minute
forthe sum of ~2467.00 be ~ccepted. Terms to be $667.00
cask, and the balance of 15 monthly payments ~kx of
$120~00 each ~eferred payments drawing interest at the rate
of 6%, and that the }~yor and Clerk be authorized to sign
a contract upon it's approval by attorney Westbrook. The
motion was seconded and carried.
