Minutes regular adjourned meeting Clermont
City Council held at the City 'Hall June 22, 1928
Meeting called to order by President Maves at eight
O'clook.
Council men present Mills, Simms, and. Taboi', ~or
MoKlnney and Attorney Westbrook.
m. Mills of the water committ~e requested more time to
consider well drilling propos~' which was gr~ted by
a motion that was seco~ed and carried.
The clerk then read an application from the A.C .L.
for,a permit to construct an orange packing houes o~
their property near the location of the old packing
house. .. motion w~s made seconded and carried that the
permit be grante~.
Mi-. Simms then made a motion that the clerk transfer
sufficient frmds from the various other funds to the
sinking fund as maJ be necessary to meet bonds and interest
maturing July First, said amountsto be returned to their
respective funds as soon as colleoted from paving
assessments or from the sinking fund which is now on
savings accoUnt as soon as the "~,certificate
. matures. The mot ion was seconded and oarried.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned
to meet at the call of the president. '

held June 26, 1928. .
Meeting called to order at eight 0' clock by
Vice President Mills.
'Councilmen present Tabor & Simms, Mayor McKinn.ey
~, attorney Westbrook.
The committee appointed to examine and tabulate
tiids for di11ing a well report that in their opinion
the Bid of the ~UiArtesia.n Wells Co., of Fifty Cents
per diameter incSli~~"'cir drii1ing and $2.60 per feot fo:r;
twelve inch casing and nO.extra charge for tests iB the
best propostion for the city.'
It was then moved seconded and carried that the
city attorney be authorized to draw up suitable contract
with the Gray Artesian Wells Co., and that the Clerk and
Mayor be au thori.zed to si.gEl same.
There being no further business the meeting
adjourned to meet at the call of the president.
