Minutes regular adjourned meeting Clermont
City Council held at the City Hall June 13, 1928.
Meet~ng called to order at 8:15 P.M.~lby President Maves
Councilmen present Simms, Mills and abor. Mayor
'McKinney, Attorney Westbrook and Clerm Kindred.
x~~.r~~~m~x Mr. Maves announced that the purpose of the
meeting was to discuss the peasurements on Project No. 4
as p~esented by Mr. Tabor and Mr. Gibson. After some,
discussion it was moved by Mr. Tabor and seconded b1 Mr.
Mills that Mr. Gibsona measurements be accepted. The roll
call,was then asked for. Messrs. Tabor, Mills and Maves
voting Aye. Mr. Simms voting Naye:
: There being no further business the meeti~g adjourned
till eight o'clock Firday evening June 15th.

Minutes regular adjourned meeting Slermont 'City Council
June 15, 1928.
_ Meeting called to order at eight o'clock by President I
~aves. Councilmen present Simms, Mills,and Tabor, Mayor
McKinney and Attorney Westbrook,
nMr. Maves stated that 'the meeting is for the purpose
of discussing the amount of money.~_ 'Ie- paid by the Cox
~ryson Paving Co., for the $78,000.00 issue of bonds sold
them on July 6, 1926, said Cox Bryson Paving Company
claiming a loss of fourteen points as a deductible item
from the face amount of the ,bonds. Mr. R.C. Brown,
president of the Council at that time appeared before the
present council and stated that according to his
understanding that a loss of thirteen >>oints was deductible.
Other 'members of the former council present stated that
according to thilr understan~ing Mr. Browns statement
was correct.
