Meeting called to order'.at 8 P.M. by President Mavis Councilmen present Tabor, Mills Simms & Westbrook Mayor McKinney Attorney nestbrook and Clerk Kindred. President Mavis announce that one sUbJect for discussion is the quality of rock now being used as the base for the streets now under construotion. After some discussion it was moved by Mr. Tabor that the Cox Bryson Paving Co., be allowed to use rock now on hand on level streets with least traffic with the understanding that it will be removed by them if found unsatisfadtory. Seconded by Mr. Mills. The motion was then put to a voteAyes: Tabor, Mills & Mavis. Bayes Simms, Westbrook. carried The Clerk was then instructed to send two samples of rock to the Pittsburg Testing Labratories fn Tampa, for tests as to which would be best for street work. ";;~ --._- ';:"..~ '~i:~":;':.:' Mr. Simms made a motion that an additional reward of $2500.00 be posted for the arrest and conviotion of party or parties breaking into the City Hall the night of April 8, 1928. The motion was seoonded and carried. Attorney Westbrook reported the revision of city ordinances Just about completed and suggested that the chair appoini two additional members on the ordinanoe oommittee to review and report on same. %KaX President Maves then appointed Mr. Simms and Mr. Tabor to assist Mr. Westbrook, chairman of the ordinance comr~li ttee It was moved, seconded and carried that a cash price of $125.00 be put on the Motoroycle now belunging to the city.
