Mills. Westbrook, Tabor, Mayor MoKinney, Attorney Westbrook and Clerk HKindred. Treasurer Brotherston s_bmitted the following report as of April 1, 1928. Mr. Westbrook chairman of the oom::1l1 ttee on Parks reports that he has two bids on clearing out the city park around Sparkling Water Lake. Mr. Westbrook was authorized to ha ve the work done. After some discussion regarding title to the awroius city Parks a motion carried that the city attorney be instructed to get quit claim deeds from former ownere where possible. It was moved, seconded and carried that the Blorida Public Service Co., be authorized to install a 250 candle power lamp at Minnehaha and Fifth Streets and a 100 oandle power lamp at Fifth and Descto Street. ~he clerk read a letter signed by four citizens and taxpayers protesting against the rail~oad Company having a private D~iveway sign on the North side of Block 93. The letter was referred to the City attorney for attention.
