04-02-1928 Regular Meeting Minutes regular adjourned m~eting Clermont City Counoil held at the City Hall Wednesday Maroh 28, 1928 Meeting oalled to order at 7;45 by. President Maves, Counoilmen present, Mills, Mavea. Westbrook, Tabor & Simms, MaJor MoKinney A~torney Westbrool and olerk Kindred .~ .., After some disoussion regarding payment of 1927 taxes it was moved seoonded and oarried that the time for payment be extended thirty days, making them delinqueBt after April 3', It was moved by Mr. Mills and seoonded voted and oarriQd that. the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to exeoute. agre~ment with Tavares & Gulf Railroad Co., relative to pipe line under traoks 258 feet South of M.P. 27 as submitted to the oounoil. After some disoussion ~egarding thl 075,000.00 bond issue now being validated it was moved, seoonded and oarried that we meet Monday night April 2, to oonsider proposals on any part or all of said issue. There being no further business the meeting ad~ourned to meet at the oall of the president. Meeting oalled to order at 7;30 by president Maves Counoilmen present, Westbrook, Tabor, Mills & Simms, Mayor McKinney, Attorney Westbrook and Clerk Kindred. Mr. Maves announoed that the purpose of the meeting was to Bonsider proposals on all or part of 075,000.00 that has Just been validated. Two proposals were Deoeived the highest being Ninety. Mr. Simms then made a motion that the Clerk send all the money available from the sinking and interest funds to New York to pay bonds and interest falling due April First and that we defer selling the bonds ~ and again receive proposals Monday night April 9th.
