held at the City fial1 March 6, 1928.
Meeting called to order at eight o'clock by president
Maves, . Councilmen present, Mills, Tabor, Westbrook, Councilman
Simms not present, Mayor McKinney, Attorney Westbrook and Clerk
Kindred present. . .
Minutes of previous meeting read and approved.
"Marshall McGehee reported three arrests made during the
month of February.
. Treasurer, Brotherston submitted the following report.

The report was accepted.
Attorney Westbrook presented contract with Cox Bryson
Paving Co., duly signed add bond in the amount of $25,000.00
furnished by said Cox Bryson Paving Company as requested in
the meeting of February 16th, 1928, for completion of said
contract.
Mr. Tabor from the street committee reports that a
charge of twenty ~ive cents per load is made for hauling brush
from the curbing' when taken from peoples groves.
After same discussion regarding the water it was moved
, to have the tank cleaned out

The clerk then read a petition signed by forty five property
owners that the city council a man or men 6apable of inspecting
the finished and unfinished streetsmand the streets under construction
in Clermont.'
After some discussion it was moved by Mr. Mills that the
council appoint a man for inspection. The mot~on was senonded and
carried.
The following resolution was the adopted.
March6, 1928
WHEREAS, it is neces~ary for the city of Clermont to
renew a loan.of the First State Bank of Clermont of Ten Thousand
Three hundred Eighty Three Dol]ars and Thirty Five cents, ($10,383.35
for ninety days.
Now, therefore be it resolved, that the proper officers of
the city of Clermont be, and that they are 'hereby authorized and
directed to make, execute and deliver unto the said First State Bank
a certificats on indebtedness; in the sum of $10,383.35 payable
ninety days from date without interest.
Done at a regular meeting of the City Council held at the
City BaIlon March 6, 1928 at eight o'clock

The following resolution was adopted
March 6, 1928
WHEREAS, it is necessarY for the city of Clermont to
renew a loan of the First State Bank of Clermont of Five thousand
Four Hundred Seventy Six Dollars and Sixty Seven Cents ($5,476.67
for ninejy days.
Now, therefore, be it resolved, that the proper officers of
the. City of Clermont be, and they are hereby authQrized and directed
to make, execute and deliver unto the said First ~tate Bank, a
certificate of indebtedness in the sum of $5,476.67' payable ninety
da~s from date with interest after maturity at the rate of' 8%
per annwn. '
