Regu1ar ad,iourned meeting Clermont City Councll held
January 31. 1928
Meeting called to order at 8:30 by president Maves
Councl1gen present If...". S1Dms, Westbrook and Tabor. Mayor
McKinney, Attorney Westbrook and Clerk Kindred.
A 'motion was made, seconded and carried that the bonds
for B.L. McGeehee in the amount of .2000.00, D.L. Brotherston
in the amount of $5000.00 and Carl Kindred in the amount of
$5000.00 be approved and that the chalrIJan destrOJ'. the .
personal bond foraer-1Y given by Kindred.-
A motion was made seconded and carried that the I
returns made by the Standard Oil Coapany in AUlJUst be accepte-eC.-
as the assessment on their personal property here in Cle~ont
Upon motion by Mr. Simms and seconded by IIr. Tabor
the following pesolution was passed.

WHEREAS, it is necessary ~or the City o~ Clermont to
renew a loan o~ the FirsD State Bank o~ Clermont o~ Twenty Two
Hundred Dollars ~or ,I J-.6 days ·

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, thllt the proper o~~icials
o~ the City o~ Clermont, be, and they are hereby authorized and
directed to make, execute and deliver unto the said First State
Bank, a certi~icate o~ indebtedness in the sum o~ Twenty Two
Hundred Dollars ($2200.00) Payable J~ days a~ter date, and as
collateral on said note , the city ~o .attaches Time Certi~icates
G Due May 15th, 1928 on Paving No. 5 in the sura of Three Thousand
Thirty Nine Dollars and Fi~ty Cents ($3039.50).
Done, at a regular adjour.oe~ meeting of the City Council,
