01-24-1928 Regular Meeting - ,...-... ., ~ ., Mtnutes regular adjourned geettng Clermont City Council held at City Hall January 24, 1928. Meeting called to order at eight o'c1ock by president Maves. Counci1m~ present ..ssrs. Simms, Westbrook, Mills and Taber, Mayor McKinney, Attorney Westbrook and Cle~ Carl Kindred. Report of Auditors read b7 Mr. James B. Moore of James B. Moore & Co., who have been audittng the city books. A motion was ma4e seconded and carried that James B. Moore & Co., turnish an itemized list of all amounts paid contracbors durtng 1925,1~26 and 1927 and whether ia cash, bonds or eertificates of deposit. A motion was lI.8.de seconded and carried that the amounts of paving assessments paid in :full be set up in the report as ot each year. Following the reading of bond tn the amount of t-18e8TQQ Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) on Carl Kindred Clerk and Tax Collector, a motion was made seconded and carried that.the bond be approved. . It was moved, seconded and carried t~at Mr. Geo. Westbrook confer with Mr. A.P. Gibson, City Engineer, ~W.!.~ and get necessary tnfor.mation in regard to estimates on various projects and compare same with the mtnutes. It was moved, seconded and carried that all checks be signed by the City Treasurer and countersigned by the president of the council and that city clerk make the deposits at money in the bank and turn duplicate deposit slip over to the treasurer for his record. Bill of James B.
