09-23-1927 Special Meeting
Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of
Clermont, held, at the City Hall, September 23rd 1927,
at 11:30 A. M.

Meeting called to order and presided over by H. C.
Brovm, President.
Roll call showed the following present; H. C.~rown,
w. M. Davenport, H. F. Bailey, and C. E. Tabor, Councilmen,
Isam Blackburn, Clerk.
The President stated the purpose of the meeting was
to determine whether or not the City would accept or reject
Julus H. Preston Jr. Representing the Interstate Bond and
Shore Corporations offer on $125,000 Refunding Bonds. After
reading the correspondence and a discussion, \Vm. Davenport
made the following motion, that we give Julus H. Preston Jr.
a 20 day option on $125,000 Refunding Bonds at 95 cents
plus accrued interest and allow him 6~% commission on sale.
Mr. Tabor seconded the motion and carried.
No further business, the Council adjourned to meet
at the call of the President.
