REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL, of the City of
Clermont was held at the City Hall November 2nd 1926 at 8 P M.
In the absence of H C Brown, the meeting was called to order
and presided over by W M Davenport and upon roll call, by the
Clerk showed the following members present.
W M Davenport, H F Bailey, Andy Assheim and C E Tabor, Council-
men, W N McKinney Mayor nnd B W Wait City Attorney. Isam
Blackburn, Clerk.

The above were ordered pplid. Those voting "yes", Tabor,
Assheim, Davenport, Bailey.
lIr S H Bowman, representing the colored citizens of Lincoln
Park r~~gd that the present supply of water was in-
adequate for the nine fOlmilies living there at present.
Also, requested that the City do what it could to supply
lights and for the cln.y road going into Lincoln Park. The
Clerk was instructed to wri~e the Florfuda Public Service Co.

The matter of water w~s given to Mr Davenport and the Clay
Road to Mr Tabor.
The matter of cleaning the lakes was discussed and the Clerk
was instructed to wire Mr Wyatt of the Gulf States Engineer-
ing Co of Jacksonville to come to vlermont at once.
It Wa~ moved and seconded that the City pay, from the general
funds, all labor and material Bills for the digging of the
well at Lake Sunnyside and the Clerk was instmucted to bill
The Clermont Hill & Lake Co. for same. Those voting "yesr!,
Tabor, Bailey, Assheim and Davenport.
There being no further business the Council adjourned to meet
again upon the call
of the President.

a municipal corporation in the Gounty of Lake and

Bunk of Clermont, in the sum of Twenty-five thousand

before ninety days from date with interest after
