C. Brown the meeting was presided over by W. M. Davenport, and upon roll call by the Clerk showed the following members present. W. M. Davenport ,C. E. Tabor Andy Aasheim H. F. Baily W. N. McKinney, Mayor Isam Blackburn, Clerk The Clerk stated that certain interests would be due on Paving Bonds October Ist, I9?6 and the City had insuficient fill1ds to meet same, and therefore, the following resolution resolution was adopted, RESOLUTION. Whereas it is necessay to make a loan on the First State Bank of Clermont, against the City of Clermont in the sum of ($3.800.00) Thirty Eight Hundred Dollars which sum will be due thirty days from date. Therefore be it resolved that the Mayor and President of the City Council be empowered to make said loan fot the period of thirty days with interest at the rate of 8%. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution is a true and exact copy of a resolution passed at a regular adjourned meeting of the City Council of the City of Clermont and at which a quorum was present, held at the office of the City Clerk in the City of Clermont, County of Lake, State of Florida September 23rd, 1926. f /J /J t? t?, ./ STATE OEl FLORIDA COUNTY OF LAKE CITY OF CLERMONT This is to certify.that the City of Clermont, a MuniCipal Corporation, in the County of Lake and State of Florida, is indebted to the First State Bank of Clermont, Florida, in the sum of ($3.800.00) Thirtu Eight Hundred Dollars which sum the City agrees to pay to the First State Bank of Clermont, on or before thirty days at the rate of 8%. from the date,hereof until paid. This certificate is issued in compliance with a resolution duly and regularly passed by the City Council of the City of Clermont on the 23rd, day of September I926.
