SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITYiCOUNCIL OF THE CIT-Y OF
CLERMONT HELD AT THE OFFICE OF THE CITY CLEIDt AUGUST 31, 1926.

In the absence of Mr. H. C. Brown, President of the
C~ty Council, Mr. W. M. Davenport acted as temporary president.
, Mr. Davenport having called the meeting to order, the
Clerk's roll call showed the following present:-
Mr. w. M.. Davnnport.
Mr. H. F. Bailey. '
Mr. C. E. Tabor.
w. N. McKinney, Mayor.
The following resolution was then pasaed:-
RESOLUTION:
Whereas, it is necessary to renew several loans held
by the FirstSState Bank of Clermont (loans listed below)
against the City of Clermont in the sum of Five Thousand
Four Hundred Seventy Six Dollars and Sixty Seven Cents
($5,476.67), which are now due and overdue. It is agreed
to put these several notes in one.

This is to certify that the City of Clermont,
a Municipal Corporation, I in the c.;oun~y of Lake and the Stee,t
State of Florida, is indebted to the First State Bank of
Clermont, Florida, in the $um of Five Thousand Four Hundred
Seventy Six Dollars and Sixty Seven Cents ($5,47~.67), which
sum the qity agrees to pay to the order of the F1rst State
Bank of lilermont on or before Ninety, days at the rate of
'8% from the date thereof until paid.

a resolution duly and regularly passed by the City Council
