S?ECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COm:JCIL Held at the Civic Club
Building, August 17, 1926.
Meeting was called to order by it's president, H. C. Brown.
Roll call by the Clerk showed the following Present:-

H. F. Bailey

C. E. Tabor
w. N. McKinney, Mayor.
A. P. Gibson, City Engineer.
The question of employing Jack Haverfield as band leader
was discussed and agreed to consider a proposition from him.
The City Engineer reported that, on account of recent rains
and drainage from certain streets into lake Sunnyside, that it's
waters are now over the present street around it. After considerable
idscussion, it was agreed to lower it by drilling a well, pro-
vided commission could be secured from the state Board of Health
to do so. A committee was appointed with power to act to look
after this matter consisting of H. F. Bailey, C. E. Tabor, A. P.
Gibson and Isam Blackburn.
Meeting was adjourned to meet again at the call of President.
