Mess, Andy Aasheim, Isam Blackburn and H.L. House. A motion was made by Mr. Blackburn, seconded 1:y I.,r. Bess that the Council accept as correct the official count of the election board as returned by the Clerk and tellers as follows: For Mayor :McKinney 121, Krieder 36, Thomas 53 For Councilmen, H.C. brown '100, C.E. tabor 159, 11.0. Todd 39 R... Zimmerman 83, For Assessor: C.F. Kneelin- 74, R.P. Seaver 133, For Clerks: E.U. 8helver 93, Stella Thompson 142. For Treas. C.D. Baker 84, C.:,. roe 125. For Collector: Mfrs E.K.. beacock 80, R.F. douse 142. Petitions ar.re read requesting the paving_; of Desoto Street from Seventh to Fifth; Chestnut Street from Seventh to Sixth; A Committee composed of Mes^rs Brovm, Bess and '-iaite -.-ias appointed to investirrte and report at a later meeting; on other streets needing to be paved. Mr. Waite reported to the Council that a suite had been filed a7ainst the city by the R.O. Campbell Coal Co. of Atlanta to recover matter of difference in frei;-�ht changes. It was regularly moved and seconded that i,'-r. ��aite eorresuonde rith the Attorney of the McCreary Construction Co:;lpany and co-operate with them in handling this suite. Carried. Pres. House appointed 2h. Jasheim as chakman of the Street Com ittee and on motion he was instructed to repaid the dangerous places along the 'Jake chore Drive. The Fleeting ad4ourned until further call of the President.
