05-09-1924 Special Meeting., • May 9th-1924. A Special Meeting of the Council. The meeting was called to order by President House, Council- men present were ["Jm. Bess, H.C. groim, D.J. westbrook, A letter from the Atlantic National Bank was read. It was moved and seconded that proper resolution be made renewing notes for 60 days. Carried. It was moved by D.J. estbrook, seconded by H.C. rowan that $2,000.00 be paid the'°'Atlantic National Barak. tarried. A letter from the Cicvi Club was read in regard to leasing lot upon which the Community House stands. Dr. Izlar'mentioned the facie that some one wished to buy the lot, and it was then decided to refer matter to Park committee which consists of "''essrs. Jones, Westbrook and House. An Orddnance in regard to Sanitaian and Health was read by. B.'-.. aite for second reading. eading of Ordinance was continued for some future time. Ordinance on sidewalks was read for the second time. A motion !ias made by Vim. Bess second by, 2nd by D.J. westbrook that we adopt the Ordinance and include the amendments. Carried. The Committee on Streets was asked by the President to look into matter of Chestnut Stlrunning north of seventh St. The disposition of matter in regard to Cammack and Bowman lots was postponed until Mr. E.O.
