Minutes of Regular Adjourned Meeting of the City
Council of the City of Ulermont, Held March 24th,
lS25.
The City Council of the City of Clermont met in regular
adjo~ned meeting at the office of the City Clerk, that being
the uual meeting place of said Council, on March 24th, 1925,
at eight o'clock R M.
Present: Messrs. H. C. Brown, Andy
Aashe~m, C. E. Tabor, lsam Blackburn and W. M.Uess, being all
of the members of said Countml; Stella Thompson, City Olerk;
W. N.McKinney, Mayor; and B. W. Wait, City Attorney.
The meeting \l'JLS presideci over by Mr. Brown, President
of the Uity Council.
The Presi~ent of the Council statedthat the meeting was
calJBi prLnarily for the purpose of hearing the proposal from the
Layne-South~astern Company for the contruction of the gravel wall
well.
Mr. Wright, representa ti ve of sLid company, ':~ LS present,
and submitted an offer fzom his co~pany to construct this well
at a point near the te..nk for the SUln of $11,500.00, stating that
the ciifferance between that an6 the former offer submitted by
the cOI..pany wc.s due to the ch~nge inthe locaticn and to several
advances inthe prices of materia.ls.
On motion &uly maLe and seconded, it waS deciced to
0..efer decision on. this iili:.. tter until the said comps,ny might submit
a new proposal for ~ gravel wall well to be situate in the City
Park between the shores of Lake Minneola and Sparkling Waters
Ltlte.
The proposed contract between the City and the Band
was r €lad. and approved.
On motion duly macle and secoRed the time limit for the
payment of' the city taxes WE.S ext en01:ed to May lst.
On mot ion duly r.:acie and. seconde<i, the following resolution

Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that the :lHayor and Pres.ident
of the City Council be empowered to renew said loan for the period of
60 days at the rate of 8% per annun,payable semi-annuallyo'
