Minutes of Regulur Adjourned Meeting of the Oity
Council of the Oity of Olermont, Held March 31st,

The City Oouncil of the City of Uler~ont met in regular
&.djournecl meeting ~ t the office of the City Olerk, t~at being
the usual meeting place of s~id Council, on March 31st, 1925,
at eight o'clock P. M. Present: Messrs. H. C. Bro~n, Andy
Aasheim, C. E. Tabor, Isam B~kburn and W. M. Bess, being all
of the meIDL.ers of sc~id Counc il; Stella 'rhompson, Oi ty Olerk and
W. N. McKinney, Mayor.
The meeting was preside6 over by Mr. Brown, President
of the Oi tj Uouncil.
The President of the Council stated that the object of
the meetin~ wc.s to consider the cD:ifferences between the Oi ty' and

relative to certain street c~~ssings.
Mr. J. W. Hunter, of Tc.vares, attorney for A. C. L. R. R. Com-
pany, WES present.
It waS informally. agreed that, inasmuch as

it is actually occupying, the assessments for the crossings at
Fourth Street anQ Lake Avenue be remitted, provided that the
re.ilroad company shall provide proper cllli7ssings; ti:~at the cross-
ing at Carroll Street be taken out and the railroad company would
withdraw its o~jection to the crossings at Lake Av~nue ana Fourth
Street.
The figures as to the final costs of the paving projects
Nos. 1 and 2 were presente~ to the Council, and, o~ motion duly
macle and seconded, were approved.
Mr. Wright, representing the Layne Southeastern Company.
presented an itemized estimate of the cost of installing a gravel
w~ll well to be located near Sparklins Waters Lake about 200 feet
from the shore of Lake 1anneola and offered to insta.ll the SE-.me
for $9274.00.

. Council wes authorized to ap~oint a comraittee to ascertain whether
