Meeting called to order by Pesident.Ro11 Call-Present: H.C.Brown,
Andy Aasheim.L Isam B1ackbul"n~ C. Ei Tabor,members of the Council,
and Stella Tnompson , Clerk. Absent: Wm. Bess.

Mr. T. J. Cox ,Paving Contractor appeared before the Council
with a request that lie be permitted to use concrete in the widening
of Ei~~th Street from Minneo1a Ave. to Lake Shore Drive, stating
that the increase in cost would be very little and that in his
opinion tho Finley Method paving will not stand up under the
continual washing rains down said street. After discussion C.E.
Tabor made a motion that concrete be used to widen 8th st. from
Mlnneo1a Ave to Lake Shore ~"ive. !nd by Blackburn Carried.
Mr. Aasheim reported that Siren Fire Alarm had been purchased and
The Florida Public Sel~ice CO.had agreed to install same add
furnish power gratis.
A commitee of three,representing the M.E.Church, asked that a
fire hydra~t bo placed near their church. Upon motion the matter
was referred to the Com. on Utilities with the power to act.
Motion 2nd. and carried.
