Thereupon, the City I.Ilerk having read the minutes of the
regulax adjourned meeting of March 17,1925, uyon motion of
Oouncilman Bess, seconded by Councilman Aasheim, said minutes
were duly approved c.na the president and city vLl' k were author-
ized and directed to a,ake anotation to th6,t effect upon the min-
utes of saia meeting.
Thereupon, the Oity vlerk having read the minutes of the
regulLr meeting held April 7th, 1925, upon motion of Councilman
Aasheim, seco~ed by Oouncilman Blackburn, said minutes were
duly approved and the president and Uity Olerk were authorized

gave his monthly report and upon motion th e
report was accepted ~s read.
A Note for $1500.00 being due at The First State B~nk the clerk
w~s ordered to pay the interest of t30.00 from the side w~lk fund.
Upon motion the following resolution was passed:

f~ereas ,it is necessary to renew the loan held by The First
State Bank of Clel~ont,against the Citv of Clermont, Florida for
~ '
~1500.00,due June 6th, 1925,
Now therefore be it resolved, that the Mayo!" and Pl"esident
of the City Council be empowered to renew said loan for the period
of slbx months at the rate of 8% per annum, paya,ble semi-annually.

on his Pitt street. The statement he presented called for $893.50.

Pres. stated the called meeting was to discuss the lack of funds
in the Interest Fund to cover interest due om coupons of bonds for
Bond Issue # 3. Afterdiscussion in which tho Pes. stated that the
Fil"st State Bank vm.S willing to loan tho City $400.00 to be pla.ced
to the credit of Interest Fund.t~~/t~tt~itupon motion maly made and
seconded and cal~"ied the followin~ Resolution was passed:
Clermont, Florida,

VJhereas, it is necessary to borrow $400.00 from the First
state Eank,of Clermont to be placed to the credit of Interest Fund,
Now, therefore,be it resolved,that the Mayor and President of the
City Council be empowered to ~et said loan for the period of Five
(5) months with interest at the rate of 8% per annum.
