National Executive Housekeepers WeekPROCLAMATION
CITY OF CLERMONT
WHEREAS, hotels, motels and hospitals annually serve the
needs of the traveling and the ill; and
WHEREAS, the cleanliness and aesthetic appearance of said
facilities is crucial for insuring pleasant
vacations for the travelers and satisfactory re-
coveries for the ill; and
WHEREAS, the National Executive Housekeeper Association,
Inc., with more than 7,000 members, represents
those professionals who maintain the sanitary and
aesthetic conditions of hotels, motels and
hospitals, and
WHEREAS, said organization with more than 500 members in Florida
provides invaluable service to Floridians in every walk
of life;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Claude Smoake, Mayor of the City of Clermont,
Florida, do hereby proclaim the week of September 10
through September 16, 1978 as
NATIONAL EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPERS WEEK
in Clermont, in sincere appreciation for the contributions
to all Floridians made by members of this important
profession.
