RESOLUTION
NO. 1633
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CLERMONT, FLORIDA, DESIGNATING AN HONORARY
HISTORIAN OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Clermont honors citizens who have
exceedingly contributed to this community; and
WHEREAS, the City Council expresses appreciation to individuals who has been
extraordinarily benevolent in the donation of time, services, and support of the City of
Clermont; and
WHEREAS, Dolores Walker has been instrumental in establishing, publicizing,
planning and promoting events of the South Lake Historical Society; and
WHEREAS, she has demonstrated her deep commitment to the history of the
City of Clermont and has dedicated countless hours to the preservation of our history for
the benefit of future generations
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Clermont, Lake County, Florida that Dolores Walker is hereby made and proclaimed to
be the Honorary Historian of the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida.
DONE AND RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT,
LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA THIS 13`}' DAY OF OCTOBER 2009.
