R-2010-05CITY OF CLERMONT RESOLUTION N0.2010-OS A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, RELATED TO THE CLERMONT MUNICIPAL CEMETERY, ALSO KNOWN AS OAK HILL CEMETERY, AMENDING THE FEE SCHEDULE TO PROVIDE FOR FEES RELATED TO ENGRAVING AND INSCRIPTIONS AND AMENDING THE RULES, REGULATIONS AND RESTRICTIONS, PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF ALL RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, Section 22-3 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Clermont, provides that the City Council shall by resolution adopt rules, regulations and restrictions for the use of the cemetery; and WHEREAS, it has been determined by the City Council that the adoption of amended fees and rules, regulations and restrictions is in the best interest of all users of Oak Hill Cemetery and the citizens of the City of Clermont; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City council of the City of Clermont as follows: Section 1. All applicable markers, emblems or identification plates shall be engraved, etched or prepared in accordance with the rules, regulations and policies of the City of Clermont and by a company selected by the City, the fees for such engraving or etching shall be as follows; Cremorial Niches: Per marker, emblem or plate: Actual cost of the marker, emblem or plate as charged by company selected by City. The party requesting the marker, emblem or plate shall pay to City one-half of the estimated cost thereof at the time the order is placed and the balance upon delivery to the City and prior to installation. II. Columbarium: Per marker, emblem or plate: $125 for single and $150 for double. The party requesting the marker, emblem or plate shall pay to City the full amount specified herein at the time the order is placed. Section 2. All resolutions, rules, regulations, restrictions or policies of the City of Clermont in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of the conflict. Section 3. This resolution shall take effect on January 26, 2010. DONE AND RESOLVED BY the City Council of the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida, this 26th day of January 2010. Harold S.
