NO. 1247
• A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA,
ESTABLISHING ANIMAL CONTROL RECLAIM FEES, ANIMAL LICENSING &
DANGEROUS ANIMAL REGISTRATION; REPEALING AI,.L OTHER RESOLUTIONS
RELATING TO ANIMAL CONTROL FEES; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, it is hereby found and determined by the City Council of the City of Clermont, Lake
County, Florida that the fee schedule for animal reclaim fees, animal licensing and dangerous azumal
registration is established as follows;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Clermont that the above said Animal
Reclaim Fee Schedule, Animal Licensing Fee Schedule, and Dangerous Animal Registration Fee Schedule
are as follows:
1. Animal Reclaim Fees:
Impoundment
A. First Impoundment-$20.00 per animal.
B. Second Impoundment-$40.00 per animal.
C. Continued Impoundment-Animal(s) will be turned over to Lake County Animal
Control and the owner will be subject to their established fees.
Board
Board will be charged on all impounded animals at a rate of $5.00 per day, per animal.
Rabies Vaccination
A fee of $10.00 will be charged on all impounded animals that do not have current rabies
vaccinations.
• 2. City Animal Licensing:
A. An annual license for any animal within the limits of the City of Clermont that is
spayed or neutered and has a current rabies vaccination will be...........$5.00
B. An annual license for any animal within the limits of the City of Clermont that is
intact and has a current rabies vaccination will be.....$10.00
3. Dangerous Animal Registration:
An annual registration fee of $300.00 will be charged for any animal(s) that has been
declared dangerous. This fee is to include registration, signage, and the City of Clermont
Dangerous Animal Tag.
NOW ,THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Clermont that the above
fees are adopted and become effective Apri19, 2002.
