A RESOLUTION OF TIIE CITY COUNCIL OF TIIE CITY OF
CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, TEMPORARILY
PRO~t'IDING TIIAT IMPACT FEES MAY BE PAID AT A DATE LATER
TIIAN TIIE ISS~7ANCE OF A BUILDING PERMIT; PROVIDING FOR
CONFLICT; EF~ECTIVE DATE; AND AUTOMATIC SUNSET DATE.
WHEREAS, the pity of Clermont has by ordinances established waterlsewer; park and
recreation; police protection and fire protection impact fees to be collected by the City at or upon
issuance of applicable bui~ding and construction permits; and
'tYHEREAS, the ~ity Council has determined that it is in the best interest of the citizens
of the City of Clermont ttb prom~~te economic development and assist hornebuyers, construction
companies and developer~j by temporarily extending the time when impact fees have to be paid;
NOW, Z`IIEREFIORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Clermont, Florida, as follgws:
SECTION 1.
he City Council does hereby provided that ail impact fees imposed by the City of Clermont
snail be paid by the impac~ fee payer as a condition of and prior to the date of the earlier of:
1. the issuance of a certificate of occupancy; or
~. tfie acceptance and final approval by the City of ar;y c~vater and sev~,~er
irr~proven~ents required to connect to City's system.
SECTION ~.
any resolution previousl~~ adopted by the City Council and in conflict herewith is hereby
repealed to the extent of the conflict.
SECTIOI~~ 3.
his resolution sriall take dffect immediately upon its adoption.
SECTION ~.
Unless readopted or codified b~~ subsequent resolution or ordinance of the City Council, the
provisions adapted herein shall sunset and be of no force and effect in the City of Clermont upon
the expirati;~n of one {1} year from the date of its adoption.
