RESOLUTION
No. 723
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT,
LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING FINES FOR PARKING
VIOLATIONS.
WHEREAS, Ordinance 236-C of the Municipal Code of Ordinances
provides for the establishment of fines for parking violations, and
WHEREAS, any person issued a parking ticket by the City of
Clermont shall be charged with a non-criminal violation and comply
with the directions on the ticket.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the following fines are
established for parking violations:
A. The fine for improper parking or other parking
violations other than listed below shall be
$10 per citation if paid within thirty-six
hours.
B. The fine for improper parking or other parking
violations other than those listed below shall
be $25 per citation if paid after thirty-six
hours.
C. The parking of boat trailers at the Jaycee
Beach Recreation Area is restricted to certain
designated areas. Trailers parked in the
designated trailer area must display a launch
fee stub or annual launch pass. The fine for
improper trailer parking and/or failure to
display launch fee stub or annual pass at the
recreation area shall be $32.
The provisions of this Resolution are not applicable to
violations of handicapped parking rules as described in the Florida
Statutes.
