RESOLUTION
NO. 712
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY,
FLORIDA, PROVIDING FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO DISSTON AVENUE,
PROVIDING FOR THE NATURE OF IMPROVEMENTS, PROVIDING FOR
SPECIAL ASSESSMENT, AND PROVIDING FOR THE TOTAL ESTIMATED
COST.
The City Council of the City of Clermont, Lake County,
Florida, hereby ordains that:
SECTION 1. The City Council proposes to open and improve
Disston Avenue from the south right-of-way line of Highland Avenue
to the north right-of-way line of State Road 50, all according to
the Official Map of the City of Clermont, recorded in Plat Book 8,
Pages 17-23, inclusive, Public Records of Lake County, Florida.
SECTION 2. The nature of the improvements are grading,
drainage retention, and paving according to the standards for
streets established by the City of Clermont.
SECTION 3. The entire portion of the total costs of the
improvements shall be paid by Special Assessment pursuant to
Section 170, Florida Statutes. Said Special Assessment shall be
based upon a prorata share of the total front footage of adjacent
lands. The Special Assessment shall require that one-third of the
cost be paid from the general improvement fund of the City of
Clermont and the balance of the two-thirds paid by the property
owners of lands adjoining the said improvements.
SECTION 4. Payments may be made in; a lump sum or before July
1, 1991 or in five (5) equal annual installments together with
interest at the rate of eight percent (8~) per annum with the first
payment due and payable July 1, 1991.
SECTION 5. The lands to be assessed are all lands adjoining
the said portion of Disston Avenue to be improved.
SECTION 6. The total estimated cost of the improvements is
EIGHTY-FIVE THOUSAND AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($85,000).

Lake County, Florida, this 14th day of May, 1991.
