Gentlemen:
It would seem proper at this time to amend our .Agreement of September 6,
1957, in order to bring the Agreement up to date in the light of the
larger program which is to be financed, as far as possible, through the
grants of the Federal Government and now that we are in a better position
to determine the amount of the issue that wi I I be necessary for the City
of Clermont to authorize:, val idate, sell and del iver in order to complete
the program as presently contemplated.
Inasmuch as the program being considered at this time is much wider in
scope with considerably larger sums of money involved, the present estimate
after consultation with the City's Engineers is that the amount of an issue
or issues of bonds or cerHficates which t e City of C~rmont must bring.,t~
market is One Million Two Hundred Thousand and no/100
( $ I,200,000.00) more or less.
Therefore, it would seem at this time desirable to amend the Agreement of
September 6, 1957, so that alI the duties and obligations and expenses in
that Agreement remain but that the amount of the issue or issues as above
estimated wiII be amendment No.1, that payment of the City Attorney's fee
by the Fiscal Agents be el iminated and the City assume any payment necessary
in that regard be amendment No.2, and No.3 that the compensation to the
Fiscal Agents for each One Thousand Dollars ($1,000) face value of bonds or
certificates sold, delivered and paid for connection with the financing
of this program shaII be amended to read Nine dollars and
Eighty Cents for each one
Thouand dollars ($1,000) face value of bonds or certificates sold and
delivered.
Said fee shal I be payable in accordance with the Agreement of September 6,
1957 when, as, and if said bonds or certificates are actually sold, paid for
and delivered whether to the Fiscal Agents or to others.

If the above amendments are satisfactory the City Counci I, through appropriate
action, can authorize the President of the City Counci I and the City Clerk to
sign this amended Agreement, and the Mayor and the City Attorney to approve
same.
