PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS. World Day of Prayer is the yearly devotional service. promoted by
all denominations of church women for pray and singing. and
WHEREAS. World Day of Prayer encourages church women to come together on
a certain day allover the world to unite in a visible fellowship and to witness
their faith in Jesus Christ and
WHEREAS. the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church at Twelfth and Montrose
Streets is hosting this event at 10 A.M. on Friday. March 3. 1972. and
WHEREAS. other participating churches are South Lake United Presybertian
Church. St. Matthias Episcopal Church. First Baptist Church of Clermont.
First United Methodist Church. First Lutheran Church and the Church of God by
Fa ith. and
WHEREAS. invitation is extended to all members of the community to
parti.cipate. NOW. THEREFORE. I. DON E. SMITH. MAYOR. do hereby proclaim
March 3. 1972 as World Day of Prayer.
