MAYOR'S PROCLAMATION OF ELECTION:
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

You and each of you are hereby notified that a special
election will be held March 21, 1972. The issue to be decided
by this election is the proposed annexation of the following
described property located contiguous to the City of Clermont,
Lake County, Florida, to-wit:
Commencing at a point at the intersection of
the Northern right-of-way line of Florida State
Road No. 50 and the center line of Grand Highway
which forms the present Eastern boundary of the
City of Clermont, run East thence along the North-
ern right-of-way line of Highway No. 50 to a point
due North of the Northeast corner of Tract 24,
Section 29, Township 22 South,_Range 26 East,
(according to the Plat of Lake Highlands) run
thence South and along the Eastern line.of said
Tract 24 and Tract 25, continue South to a point
that intersects the Eastern right-of-way line of
U.S. Highway No 27 (State Road No. 25), thence
Southeasterly along said Eastern right-of-way
line to a point that intersects the Southern
line of Section 29, Township 22 South, Range 26
East; thence West along the Southern line of said
Section 29, Township 22 South, Range 26 East, to
the Southwest corner of said S~ction, thence c~n-
tinue West along the Southern line of Section 30,
Township 22 South, Range 26 East to the waters
edge' of Lake Minnehaha; thence run West 100 North
across Lake Minnehaha to a point that is due South
of the intersection of the South right-of-way line
of State Road No. 561 and the Western boundary of
the, City of Clermont; thence run due North to the
aforedescribed point, thence run South and contin-
ue on the boundary of the City of Clermont to a
point that intersects the P.O.B. of this descrip-
tion.
You are further notified that this election will be
held pursuant to Florida Law, Florida Statutes, Chapter 171.
The polling place within the City of Clermont will be located
at the Police and Fire Station at 882 DeSoto Street; the polls
will be open from 7:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M., March 21, 1972.
All registered electors of the City of Clermont shall be eli-
gible to vote at this polling place.
The registered electors residing in the area sought
to be annexed may vote at the duly designated polling place,
to-wit: Allbright Realty, Highway 27 South at Hook Street.
This poll will be open from 7:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M., March
21, 1972. All registered electors residing in the proposed
annexed area will be eligible to vote at this poll.

The issue to be decided is the proposed annexation
of the area as set forth in Clermont City Ordinance No.
passed by the City Counc~l of the City of Clermont on the 8th
day of February, 1972. A copy of this Ordinance has been pub-
lished weekly in the South Lake Press. Any interested person
may read this Ordinance at the City Hall in Clermont, Florida.
