R-42-003 .. . ~ RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TEMPORARY CLOSING AND USE OF CITY STREET. WHEREAS, Lucy M. Woodruff is the owner of Lots /11/ /~ !v-- in Bloc~ Six (6), Sunset Heights, City of Clermont, and the aforesaid lots are fronted on the North by Palm Street; and, WHEREAS, said Palm Street has never been open to the public between Second and Third Street, and said Palm street joins the Right-of-way of the ACL railroad on the North ; and WHEREAS, there is no occasion for the O})ening of said street between Second am Third Streets at this time amd further, that the said Lucy M. Woodruff desires to beautify that portion of the above street immediately in front of and abutting her property, hereinabove described, and further desires to protect such beautification as she may plant in said street in front of her house by a fence and by the said occupation, beautification, and fencing of said street in front of her property, she does not desire to have permanent possession øf said street and does not desire to have said Palm Street between Second and Third Street permanently closed; therefore, BE IT RESOLVED that said Palm Street between Second and Third Street be temporarily closed to the public, and that said Lucy M. Woodruff, the owner of the property hereinabove described, is hereby authorized to beautify that portion of the said Palm Street in front of her property and to temporarily close said street in front of her property by a fence, and that such occu- pation, beautification and closing of said street shall only be considered a temporary closing of said street and that such street may be opened by said council any time in the future and such fence as may be erected by the said Lucy M. Woodruff, will be removed, as well as any improvements within the boundaries of sàid Palm Street, at any time as directed by the said council of the City of Clermont and that said City Council shall give the said Lucy M. Woodruff and/or subsequent owners of said pro- perty, thirty (30) days notice requiring the vacating and the occupancy of said portion of Palm Street. (J~ JJ/¿~ 19 Y-z..-- ~ t
