WHEREAS, certain property in the City of Clermont, on
which is due the City or Clermont various sums ef money for
current and delinquent municipal taxes and special assessment
liens, have reverted t. the County $f Lake in accordance with
the laws of Flerida; and,
WHEREAS, the amount due the City of Clermont fer said'
taxes and special assessment liens amounts to more than the
value or the property; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire .r the Ceunty or Lake and the
City of Clermont to arrive at an equitable valuation and
interest of the County and City in said premises; and,
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Lake County,
Florida, and the City Ceuncil of the City of Clermont have
agreed that one-halt (ll ef the 1944 County Assessed Valuation
is an equitable and fair valuation and one-fourth ('Ìl of said
1944 assessed value represents the interest of the County
of Lake and a like amount the interest of the City of Clermont
in said property.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Clermont that ene-half (l) of the County Assessed Valuation
for the year or 1944 be accepted as a fair and equitable valu-
ation of said property; that said one-half (ll .r the County
Assessed Valuation for 1944 be advertised by the County of
Lake as the minimum bid and that after all expenses have been
paid the County of Lake in advertising said property for sale
the said County to divide the balance of the total amount bid
between the City of Clermont and the said County or Lake.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy or this
Resolution be forwarded the Clerk of the Board of County Com-
missioners of said County.
