Addendum to December 9, 2008 through September 30, 2011
Collective Bargaining Agreement
International Union of Police Associations, AFL -CIO Clermont Police Officers
Local 6013 ( "Union ") and City of Clermont, Florida ( "City "), collectively referred to as
( "parties "), agree to amend the parties' current collective bargaining agreement as
follows:
• WHEREAS, the parties recognize the financial difficulties facing the City in
fiscal year 2010 -2011; and
WHEREAS, Article 31.1 of the parties' current collective bargaining agreement
provides for a 2.5 percentage wage increase effective October 1, 2010; NOW
THEREFORE, the parties agree as follows:
1. The Union, on a one time, non precedential basis, agrees to suspend the
October 1, 2010 2.5 percentage wage increase in the current collective bargaining
agreement provided no other City employee receives a merit or cost of living increases
(cola). This one time suspension shall not prejudice the bargaining unit members' right to
receive a COLA for the fiscal year 2011 -2012.
