1945-01AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT, Made and entered into in duplicate this 6th
day of December, A. D., 1945, by and between the CITY OF CL.ERMONT, a
Municipal corporation, of Lake County, Florida, hereinafter referred
to as party of the first part and FRED L. WOLFE, of Orlando, Orange
County, Florida, hereinafter referred to as party of the second part,
WITNESSETH:
That for and in consideration of the mutual covenants herein
contained and the further sum of $1.00 each paid to the other, it is
mutually understood and agreed:
1. Party of the second part does hereby agree to open, construct
and grade the following described streets located in Johnson's Replat
of the City of Clermont, according to the plat thereof duly filed of
record in the public records of Lake County, Florida:
West Lake Drive from Minneola Avenue to its connection with
Carroll Street; and,
Carroll Street from West Lake Drive West to connect with
Twelfth Street,
and said streets to be graded so as to provide twenty (20) feet of
top surface, to be clayed with a minimum of six (6) inches of packed
clay and to be surface treated with asphalt or, if in opening said
streets there is sufficient clay available then to be clayed with
eight (8) inches of packed clay and no asphalt surface treatment will
be required.
2. That the actual cost of the construction, grading and claying
of said streets not to exceed $2,000.00 and to be paid as follows by
the party of the first part: $1000.00 upon the completion and acceptance
of the work, and the balance within twelve (12) months after the date of
completion of the work; the deferred payment not to carry any interest
charges or other costs,
3. Party of the second part to furnish all necessary engineering
services in laving out said streets, establishing grades, and to locate
said streets as shown on Johnson's Replat of said streets,

IN WITNESS WHEREOF the parties hereto have hereunto set
their hands and seals as of the day and year first above written.
