THIS lease made this 1 day of February AD, , 1955
By and between City of Clermont, a municipal corporation, herein
called the lessor, and Roger Johnston
herein called the lessee,
Witnesseth that in consideration of the covenants herein contained,
on the part of the said lessee to be kept and performed, the said lessor
does hereby lease to the said lessee, the following described property:
in Clermont, Lake County, Florida, to -wit:
All lands lying South of Lake Drive, North of the low
water mark of Crystal Lake and lying between the East
boundary of Lot 3 and the West boundary of Lot 4, all
in Block 21, if extended in a southerly direction to
the low water mark of said Lake, according to the Official
Map of the City of Clermont, filed 4 February 1926
and recorded in Plat Rook 8, pages 17 to 23, both inclur
sive, public records of Lake County, Florida.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD, the same for the term of 10 years from date
hereof, the said lessee therefor the total rent of One and No/100
Dollars.
And, in the further consideration of the above rent, lessee does
hereby agree to improve above said premises, by keeping same clean, and /or
planting; of grass, trees, palms, etc; and, that lessee has the right here-
under to build a dock or boathouse on said premises for private use,
and agrees to submit plans therefore to lessor for approval before so cons-
tructing said dock or boathouses Lessee agrees not to remove sand from
lake shore or lake bottom.
This lease is subject to cancellation by the lessor herein upon lessee's
failure to comply with above provisions upon giving 30 days written notice
thereof.
