1953-08Lease
This lease made this 23 day of March A.D., 1953
By and between CITY OF CLERMONT, a municipal corporation, herein
called the lessor, and H. R. RICHARDSON
herein crlJed the lessee
Witnesseth that in consideration of the covenants herein contained,
on the part of the said lessee to be kept and performed, the said lessor
does hereby lease to the said lessee, the following described property:
All lands lying South of Lake Drive, North of the low water
mark of Crystal Lake and lying between the East boundary of
Lot 15 and the West boundary of Lot 14, all in Block 21, if
extended in a southerly direction to the low water mark of
said Lake, according to the Official Map of the City of Cler-
mont, filed 4 February 1926 and recorded in Plat Book 8, pages
17 to 2.3, inclusive, public records of Lake County, Florida.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD, the same for the tern of 20 years from date
hereof, the said lessee therefor the total rent of One and No/100
Dollars.
And, in the further consideration of the above rent, lessee does
hereby agree to improve above said premises, by keeping same clean, and /or
planting of grass, trees, palms, etc; and that lessee has the right here-
under to build a dock or boathouse on said premises for his Private use,
and agrees to submit plans therefore to lessor for approval before so cons -
tructing said dock or boathouse. Lessee agrees not to remove sand from
lake shore or lake bottom
This lease is subject to cancellation by the lessor herein upon lessee's
failure to comply with above provisions upon giving 30 days written notice
thereof.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the said party of the first part has caused these
presents to be signed in its name by its Mayor, and its corporate seal to be
affixed, attested by the City Clerk the day and year above written.
