1953-02 Lease
This lease, made this 11 day of December A.D., 1953.
by and between CITY OF C147110NT, a municipal corporation, herein
called the lessor, and Ramond Douglas herein called the lessee,
Witnesseth That in consideration of the covenants herein contained,
on the part of the said leasee to be kept and performed, the said leassor
does hereby lease to the said leasee, the following described property
in Clermont, Lake County, Florida, to -wit:
All lands lying west of Lake Drive, East of the low water
mark of Crystal Lake and lying between the North boundary
of Lot 7 and the South boundary of Lot 8, all in Block 4,
if extended in an westerly direction to the low water mark
of said lake, according to the Official map of the City of
Clermont, filed 4 February 1926 and recorded in Plat Book 8,
pages 17 to 23, both inclusive, public records of Lake
County, Florida.
To have and to hold, the same for the term of 20 years from date
hereof, the said leasee paying therefore the total rent of One and No /100
Dollars.
And, in the further consideration of the above rent, lessee does
hereby agree to improve above said premises, by keeping same clean, and /or
planting of grass; trees, palms, etc; and, that lessee has the right here-
under to build a dock or boathouse on said premises for his private use,
and agree to submit plans therefore to leasor for approval before so cons -
tructing said dock or boathouse. Leasee agrees not to remove sand from
lake shore or lake bottom.
This lease io subject to cancellation by the lessor herein upon lessee's
failure to comply wiith above provisioins upon giving 30 days written notice
thereof.
