1952-06Lease
THIS lease made this 17 day of January A.D., 1952.
By and between CITY CF CLERMONT; a municipal corporation, herein
called the leaseor, and ROY E. BLACK and wife MABEL MORRISON BLACK, and tc
herein called the leasees, the survivor of them,
Witnesseth that in consideration of the covenants herein contained,
on the part of the said leasees to be kept and performed, the said leasor
does hereby lease to the said leasees the following described property
All lands lying between the South boundary of Lake Drive
and the low water mark of Lake Minnehaha and between the
extended eastern and western boundaries of Lot 31, Clermont
Heights, a subdivision of the City of Clermont, as per plat
thereof filed 21 May 1919 and recorded in Plat Book 4,
page 1, public records of Lake County, Florida.
To have and to hold, the same for the term of 20 years from date
hereof, the said leaseee paying; therefor t:he total rent of One and NO /1O0
Dollars.
And, in the further consideration of the above rent, leasees do
hereby agree to improve above said premises, by keeping same clean, and /or
planting of grass, trees, palms, etc; and, that leasees have the right here-
under to build a dock or boathouse on said premises for their private use,
and agree to submit plans therefore to leasor for approval before so cons -
tructing said dock or boathouse. Leasees agree not to remove sand from
lake shore or lake bottom.
This lease is subject to cancellation by the leasor herein upon leasee's
failure to comply with above provisions upon giving 30 days written notice
thereof.
IN witness whereof the said party of the first part has caused these
presents to be signed in its name by its Mayor, and its corporate seal to be
affixed, attested by the City Clerk the day and year above written.
