1952-04Lease THIS LEASE, made this 24 day of February A.D., 1952 By and between CITY OF CLERMONT, a municipal corporation, herein called the leasor, and O. H. ENGLUND and wife, EVELYN A. ENGLUND, herein called the lessees WITNESSETH, That in consideration of the covenants herein contained, on the part of the said leasee, to be kept and performed, the said leasor does hereby lease to the said leasee the following described property: All lands lying souch of Lake Drive, North of the low water mark of Lake Winnehaha and between the extended East and West boundaries of Lot 153 and W 1/2 of Lot 152, Clermont Heights, accord- ing to the Official Map of the City of Clermont duly filed on 4 February 1926 and recorded in Plat Book 8, pages 17 to 23, inclusive, public records of Lake County, Florida. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD, the same for the term of 20, years from date hereof, the said leasee paying therefor the total rent of One and No /100 Dollars. And, in the further consideration of the above rent, leasees do hereby agree to improve above said premises, by keeping same clean, and /or planting of grass, trees, palms, etc; and, that leasees have the right here- under to build a dock or boathouse on said premises for their private use, and agree to submit plans therefore to leasor for approval before so cons- tructing said dock or boathouse. Leasees agree not to remove sand from lake shore or lake bottom. This lease is subject to cancellation by the leasor herein upon leasee's failure to comply with above provisions upon giving 30 days written notice thereof. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the said party of the first part han caused these presents to be signed in its name by its Mayor, and its corporate seal to be affixed, attested by the City Clerk the day and year above written
