1952-03Lease
This lease, made this 31 day of March A.D., 1952
by amd between CITY OF CLERMONT, a municipal corporation, herein
called the leasor and ANTHONY WINTHER and wife, EDNA WINTHER,
herein called the lessees
Witnesseth that in consideration of the covenants herein contained,
on the part of the said leasees to be kept and performed, the said leasor
does hereby lease to the said leasees, the following described property,
in Clermont, Lake County, Florida, to -wit:
All lands lying South of Lake Drive, North of the low water
mark of Lake Minnehaha and lying between the East and West
boundaries of Lots 376 and 377, according to the Plat of Orange
Park Subdivision, Clermont Heights, if extended in a southerly
direction to the low water mark of said Lake, all according to
the Official Map of the City of Clermont, filed 4 February 1926
and recorded in Plat Book 8, pages 17 to 23, both inclusive,
public records of Lake County, Florida.
To have and to hold the same for the tern of 20 years from date
hereof, the said leasees paying; therefor the total rent of One and NO/100
Dollars.
And, in the further consideration of the above rent, leasees do
hereby agree to iriprove above said premises, by keeping same clean, and /or
planting of grass, trees, palms, etc; and, that leasees,have the right here-
under to build a dock or boathouse on said premixes for their private use,
and agree to submit plans therefor to leasor for approval before so cons-
tructing said dock or boathouse. Leasees agree not to remove sand from
lake shore or lake bottom.
This lease is subject to cancellation by the leasor herein upon lessee's
failure to comply with above provisions upon giving 30 days written notice
thereof.
IN witness whereof the the said party of the first part has caused these
presents to be signed in its name by its Mayor, and its corporate seal to be
affixed, attested by the City Clerk the day end year shown written.
