this lease made this 31 day of March A.D., 1952
by and between CITY OF CLERMONT, a municipal corporation, herein
called the lessor, and MARTIN WINTHER
herein called the lessee
Witnesseth that in consideration of the covenants herein contained,
on the part of the said leasee to be kept and performed, the said leasor
does hereby lease to the said leasee, the following described property:
in Clermont, Lake County, Florida, to-wit:
All lands lying South of Lake Drive, North of the low water
mark of Lake Minnehaha and between the extended East and West
boundaries of Lot 175, Clermont Heights, according to the
Official Map of the City of Clermont duly filed on 4 February
1926 and recorded in Plat Book 8, pages 17 to 23, inclusive,
public records of Lake County, Florida.
To have and to hold the same for the tern of 20 years from date
hereof, the said leasee paying; therefor the total rent of One and No/100
Dollars.
And in the further consideration of the above rent, leasee does
hereby agree to improve above said premises, by keeping same clean, and /or
planting of grass, trees, palms, etc; and, that leasee has the right here-
under to build a dock or boathouse on s aid premises for his private use,
and agrees to submit plans therefore to leasor for approval before so cons-
tructing said dock or boathouse Leasee agrees not to remove sand from
lake shore or lake bottom.
This lease is subject to crrcclletion by the lessor herein upon lessee's
failure to comply with above provisins upon giving 30 days written notice
thereof.
IN witness whereof the said party of the first part has caused these
presents to be signed in its name by its Mayor, and its corporate seal to be
affixed, attested by the City Clerk the day and year shown written.
