1950-03LEASE
THIS lease made this 2lst day of March A.D. 1950
by and between CITY OF CLERMONT, a municipal corporation, herein
called the lessor, and O. H. ENGLUND and wife, EVELYN A. ENGLUND
herein called the lessee
Witnesseth That in consideration of the covenants herein contained,
on the part of the said lessee to be kept and performed, the said lessor
does hereby lease to the said leasees the following described property:
All lands lying South of Lake Drive, North of the low water
mark of Lake Minnehaha and between the extended East and West
boundaries of Lot 153, Clermont Heights, according
to the official map of the City of Clermont duly filed on
4 February 1926 and recorded in Plat Book 8, pages 17 to
23, inclusive, public records of Lake County, Florida.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD, the same for the term of 5 years from date
hereof, the said lessees paying therefor the total rent of One and No /100
Dollars
And, in the further consideration of the above rent, lessees do
hereby agree to improve above said premises, by keeping same clean, and /or
planting of grass, trees, palms, etc; and, that lesses have the right here-
under to build a dock or boathouse on said premises for their private use,
and agree to submit plans therefore to lessor for approval before so cons-
tructing said dock or boathouse. Lessees agree not to remove sand from
lake shore or lake bottom,
This lease is subject to cancellation by the lessor herein upon lessee
failure to comply with above provisions upon giving 30 days written notice
thereof.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the said party of the first part has caused these
present: to be signed in its name by its Mayor, and its corporate seal to be
affixed, attested by the City Clerk the day and year above written,

under the laws of the State of Florida, to me known to be the persons described
in and who executed the foregoing lease as such officers, for the uses and
purposes therein mentioned; and that they affixed thereto the official seal
of said corporarion, and the said instrument is the act and deed of said corp-
oration.
