AN ORDINANCE OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT,
LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, CLOSING AND PERMANENTLY ABANDONING THAT
PORTION OF A CERTAIN FIFTEEN (15) FOOT WIDE ROADWAY, BEING THE
NORTH 15 FEET OF SECTION 20, TOWNSHIP 22 SOUTH, RANGE 26 EAST, AS
SHOWN ON THE PLAT OF LAKE HIGHLANDS PLAT OF SAID SECTION 20,
RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 3, PAGE 30, PUBLIC RECORDS OF LAKE COUNTY,
FLORIDA, LYING EAST OF BENNETT HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION, RECORDED IN
PLAT BOOK 8, PAGE 91, PUBLIC RECORDS OF LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA;
RESERVING TO THE CITY OF CLERMONT AN EASEMENT FOR INGRESS
EGRESS, AND MAINTENANCE, UTILITIES, SANITARY SEWER AND
STORMWATER; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH,
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
The City Council of the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida hereby ordains tea ,,

SECTION 1: ' ` ~
That portion of an unnamed platted right-of--way located within the City of Clermor-t,
Lake County, Florida as hereinafter described is hereby closed and permanently abandoned:
That portion of a certain fifteen (15) foot wide roadway, being the north 15 feet ~ott•
Section 20, Township 22 south, Range 26 east, as shown on the Plat of Lake
Highlands Plat of said Section 20, recorded in Plat Book 3, Page 30, Public
Records of Lake County, Florida, lying east of Bennett Heights Subdivision,
recorded in Plat Book 8, Page 91, Public Records of Lake County, Florida;
Reserving to the City of Clermont an easement for ingress and egress, maintenance, utilities,
sanitary sewer and stormwater within said roadway.

SECTION 4:

Should any section or part of this section be declared invalid by any court of competent
jurisdiction, such adjudications shall not apply to or affect any other provision of this Ordinance,
except to the extent that the entire section or part of the section may be inseparable in meaning
and effect from the section to which such holding shall apply.
