ORDINANCE

AN ORDINANCE UNDER THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING
MAP OF THE CITY OF CLERMONT, REFERRED TO IN CHAPTER 7 OF
ORDINANCE N0.281-C, LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE; REZONING THE REAL
PROPERTIES DESCRIBED HEREIN AS SHOWN BELOW, PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE AND PROVIDING FOR
PUBLICATION.
The City Council of the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida hereby ordains that:
SECTION 1:
The official Zoning Map of the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida referred to in Chapter 7 of
Ordinance No. 281-C, Land Development Code is hereby amended by rezoning the following
described property as shown:
See Attached Exhibit "A"
FROM RR RURAL RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT
TO C-2 GENERAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT
SECTION 2:
All Ordinances or parts of this Ordinance in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3:
Should any section or part of this section be declared invalid by any court of competent
jurisdiction, such adjudications shall not apply to or affect any other provision of this Ordinance,
except to the extent that the entire section or part of the section may be inseparable in meaning
and effect from the section to which such holding shall apply.
SECTION 4:
This Ordinance shall be published as provided by law and it shall become law and shall
take effect immediately upon its Second Reading and Final Passage.

That part of the northeast 1/4 of Section 28, Township 22 South, Range 26 East, Lake County,
Florida, being more particularly described as follows:
Commence at the northeast corner of said Section 28; Thence S00°25'58"W along the east line of
the northeast 1/4 of said Section 28, a distance of 64.08 feet; Thence departing said east line, run
S89°08'26"W, 50.01 feet to the point of beginning; Continue S89°08'26"W, 350.05 feet; Thence
S00°26'26"W, 600.15 feet more or less to the north line of Tract 16, Lake Highlands Subdivision
of Section 28, Township 22 South, Range 26 East, Plat Book 2, Page 28; Thence N89°08'26"E
along the said north line 384.59 feet to the northeast corner of said Tract 16; Thence
N00°29'01 "E, 0.72 feet; Thence N02°51'46"W, 599.33 feet; Thence N00°25'58"E, 0.31 feet to
