AN ORDINANCE OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, CLOSING AND PERMANENTLY
ABANDONING THAT PORTION OF AN UNNAMED THIRTY (30) FOOT PLATTED
RIGHT-OF-WAY WHICH IS BOUNDED ON THE NORTH BY TRACTS 30, 31 AND 32
OF LAKE HIGHLANDS COMPANY, SECTION 20, TOWNSHIP 22 SOUTH, RANGE 26
EAST; AND BOUNDED ON THE SOUTH BY THE EAST-WEST MII)"SECTION LINE
OF SECTION 20, TOWNSHIP 22 SOUTH, RANGE 26 EAST, AND BOUNDED ON THE
EAST BY THE WESTERLY RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF EAST JACKS LAKE ROAD,
AND BOUNDED ON THE WEST BY A LINE PARALLEL TO AND FIFTEEN (15)
FEET WEST OF THE EAST LINE OF SAID TRACT 30 AND IT'S SOUTHERLY
EXTENSION. ALL BEING IN SECTION 20, TOWNSHIP 22 SOUTH, RANGE 26
EAST, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH, PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION
AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
The City Council of the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida hereby ordains that:
SECTION 1:
That portion of an unnamed thirty (30) foot platted right-of--way located within the City of
Clermont, Lake County, Florida as hereinafter described is hereby closed and permanently
abandoned:
That portion of an unnamed thirty (30) foot platted right-of--way which is bounded on the
north by Tracts 30, 31 and 32 of Lake Highlands Company, Section 20, Township 22
South, Range 26 East, according to the plats thereof recorded in Plat Boak 3, Page 24 and
Plat Book 3, Page 30 and Plat Book 2, Page 24, Public Records of Lake County, Florida;
and bounded on the south by the east-west mid-section line of Section 20, Township 22
South, Range 26 East, according to said plats, and bounded on the east by the westerly
right-of--way line of East Jacks Lake Road, and bounded on the west by a line parallel to
and fifteen (15) feet west of the east line of said Tract 30 and its southerly extension. All
being in Section 20, Township 22 South, Range 26 East, Lake County, Florida.
SECTION 2•
This closing is done pursuant to the authority of the Charter of the City of Clermont, Lake
County, Florida and the general laws of the State of Florida.

SECTION 3:
All ordinances or parts of this ordinance in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4:
Should any section or part of this section be declared invalid by any court of competent
jurisdiction, such adjudications shall not apply to or affect any other provision of this Ordinance,
except to the extent that the entire section or part of the section may be inseparable in meaning
and effect from the section to which such holding shall apply.
First Reading this 28`~ day of October, 1997.
Second Reading this 11`~ day of November, 1997.
