AN ORDINANCE OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
CLERMONT, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, CLOSING AND PERMANENTLY
ABANDONING THAT PORTION OF FAIRFIELD DRIVE AND PORTION OF
UTILITY EASEMENT LYING EAST OF KINGSMILL WAY AND EAST OF
HAWKSHEAD DRIVE AS DESCRIBED BELOW, AS SHOWN ON THE PLAT OF
HUNTINGTON AT KINGS RIDGE PHASE II, RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 37,
PAGES 94 THROUGH 96, PUBLIC RECORDS OF LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA•
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, PROVIDING F~
SEVERABILITY, PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION AND PROVIDING FOR A~T~

The City Council of the City of Clermont, Lake County, Florida hereby ordains that~~ `'

SECTION 1
That portion of Fairfield Drive and Utility Easement located within the City of Clermont,
Lake County, Florida as hereinafter described is hereby closed and permanently abandoned:
All that portion of Fairfield Drive as shown on the plat of Huntington at Kings
Ridge Phase II, recorded in Plat Book 37, Pages 94 through 96, Public Records of
Lake County, Florida, lying southeasterly of the following described line:
From the most westerly corner of Lot 241 of said plat, run N30°52'04"E along the
southeasterly right-of--way line of Kingsmill Way 82.84 feet to the point of beginning of
said line; Thence continue N30°52'04"E 102.45 feet to a point on the northwesterly
boundary of Lot 210 of said plat, said point being the point of curvature ofnon-tangent
curve concave southeasterly ,said point also being the point of terminus of said line.
And all those portions of the 10 foot wide utility easements lying in Lots 210 and 241 of
abovesaid plat.

This closing is done pursuant to the authority of the Charter of the City of Clermont, Lake
County, Florida and the general laws of the State of Florida.
SECTION 3•
All ordinances or parts of this ordinance in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.

SECTION 4:
Should any section or part of this section be declared invalid by any court of competent
jurisdiction, such adjudications shall not apply to or affect any other provision of this Ordinance,
except to the extent that the entire section or part of the section may be inseparable in meaning
and effect from the section to which such holding shall apply.
First Reading this 9~' day of September, 1997.
Second Reading this 23"' day of September, 1997.
